Bethel Scavenger Hunt

Mission:  Provide all Bethel members with an opportunity for family teamwork, community engagement, tailgate picnic, and safe entertainment.

Object: For the hunt, each “family” team will receive a list of “Things to Find, Photos to Snap, and Tasks to Complete” in a designated time frame to be declared the winner!

Date:  Saturday, September 12, with hunt starting at 4:00 p.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m. with meal following.

Family Teams will consist of at least 1 driver above the age of 21 and as many other “family” members that feel comfortable riding in the same vehicle together. Teams do not have to be related, but others with whom they feel safe. Extra points will be awarded to any teams that include a member or members under the age of 18. (Church vans are excluded!)

Teams will need access to digital cameras and e-mail addresses for sending photos.

All teams will pick up their instruction sheet at the same time without needing to leave their vehicles outside at church and will turn in items back at the church with the possibility of emailing pictures to church. (Items will be returned to team after review.)

Once scavenger hunt is completed and everyone is back at church, a simple meal will be provided, hopefully outside – tailgate style.

For anyone not participating on a team, help with preparing meal (hotdogs, etc.) while the hunt is going on is requested.
